Hi, so I have a questions about how I should communicate to this girl after our meet and text exchange.
I saw her doing a stretch while at the gym yesterday, and knew I had to approach her after my sets. She was on the bike excessive thing when I got to her. I first said exactly why I approached her, I saw her doing her stretch and thought "wow". We chatted shortly, tried to keep gym talk to a minimum. She asked me if I wanted her number, I said sure, we can meet up after her exam on tuesday, if she stuck around for a bit (cuz it ends an hour before mine) and she nodded and said yes. I said I don't keep my phone on me, don't get why people bring there phones to the gym. Got a pen & paper, got her number, then parted ways. That was around 2PM.
This is our text convo:
[4] Me: Hi Megan, its Tomi : )
[5] Her: heyy Tomi hows it going?
[6] ME: Pretty good, it was lovely to have met u Megan
[8] Her: it was really great meeting you too what are you up to tonight?
[8] Me: Finishin up some studyin then relaxin, and u?
[9] Her: thats cool i should be studying too haha but im over hanging at a friends place
[9] Her: whats your exam on?
[9] Me: Baaaad girl!
[9] Me: Someone outta put u in ur place ; )
[over]
She didn't reply back.
Ya, so... I don't like texting, and this is exactly why. I made numerous mistakes that I'm sure anybody could point out to me, except myself.
So that was on Saturday, and before this horribad text exchange we agreed to meet up (for...coffee I think) on Tuesday after our exams.
Other than some tips of how I coulda done a better job on texting, how should I handle this situation? I brought this up in another topic, though I didn't ask this same question so it's hardly cross threading, but ya, I feel like perhaps this girl isn't interested because she never replied back, or maybe I'm just really sensitive to rejection, and I got it all wrong (hopefully the latter). Regardless, how should I text back, and what should my mind-frame be?
Any help would be much appreciated.
