I've noticed from my own experience of having girls in my social circle, some social media stalking, and knowing some personally. Seems like almost all of the 8s and 9s (since 10s don't really exist) I have known actually ended up marrying and getting with guys they knew in high school and/or college. Now after college I notice that I see some girls that are kinda cute or average do exist but it is truly hard for me to run into an 8 or 9. When I do run into them, they are almost always tied down in relationships, LTRs, and usually married with kids.

It's like the further along you go in life, the amount of single 8s and 9s you run into goes down dramatically.

Sometimes I do wonder if a single woman who is an 8 or above here in the USA and out of college (past the age of 22 usually) actually exists or if she is in most cases a myth.

Either your standards are astronomically high, or you're living in a relatively small city or town. Or maybe a little bit of both.

I live in SoCal and let me tell you, there is no shortage of beautiful women, regardless of race/ethnicity.

Then again, I appreciate many different types of women and I prefer women who are naturally beautiful, much more than the made-up types of girls you see during the night scene a lot.

It really depends on where you go, what places you frequent, the times you're there. There's a lot of factors. But nothing beats living in a large metropolitan area. Nothing.

True, I don't live in So Cal as I can't really afford it right now, have spent most of my life in the southern and midwestern states.

I have a standard for hot when it comes to girls, if most guys can rate them in the 8 range (whether it is a 7, 7.5, 8, or 8.5) then they are hot. Problem is, the girls I've known like this are hardly if ever single. They might be around but they are very rarely single.

What you're saying is very true Proactivity. The majority of hot girls will NOT be sexual available which is why cold approaching girls will ALWAYS be a numbers game. They are out there, you just have to keep approaching till you find one that's available and digs you.

Since only a small percentage of truly hot girls are single and looking, you have to put yourself around LOTS of hot girls to find them. Happy hunting.

You gotta move to a big city, bud. I've said it multiple times on here, but college girls don't really interest me -- the majority of them are "underdeveloped," and I prefer curvy (small waist, big boobs, big butt) women these days. It seems the majority of attractive women I find are at least age 23 or older.

If you don't live in a big city, then yes, you're going to find the majority of the attractive women you find who are in their 20s will be married to their high school/college sweethearts because they never leave their town and explore to meet new men. But there ARE plenty of attractive women who do leave their towns and explore, and you'll find that most of them move to big cities for "big" opportunities (both for choice of men and choice of career).

DOn't be surprised. It is true but most of them will not mention their boyfriends, even husbands. Guess life's harsh. YOu will be surprised by the level of flirting. Sure, it cannot lead to anything but you be surprised.

A lot of guys jump to conlcusions with insufficient data when it comes to girls of a particular attractiveness. They approach 5 hot chicks and dont get a date or laid, then write them off as being unattainable when all that was required was to hit on more hot chicks. It can help to make a tally of every chick you think is REALLY attractive that you approached, so you can get a clear view of how much action you've actually taken.

If you find yourself putting in a ton of action, but still going no where, then it's time to upgrade yourself.

Hey Proactivity,

On the "that are single" side of things, why does it matter to you.

Going for married women, there is a moral question at stake since potentially it can generate harm inside a family. But girls with boyfriends should not be an issue, really.

I know of at least two cases in my recent LRs where the girl simply lied about her relationship status, pretending she was single when in fact she already had someone. Why would they do that? Because they're always more or less looking out for a better prospect. When they get into a relationship, they have an initial period of high loyalty to their man. But after some time they start to get bored, and secretly hoping for better males. That's what girls do, they jump ships.

So if she has a boyfriend, that shouldn't refrain you from trying.

Besides, what are you looking for exactly? If she has a boyfriend, then let her stay with him. You'll be her occasional lover, giving her a good shag whenever things go wrong with her guy, and in the meantime you'll have your full freedom to see other girls.

I think a lot of attractive Girls (not Women) go to college to get their "Mrs." Degree. I am amazed at the attractive 30-40 Year old women I am seeing out there after one or 2 kids and a divorce.

Society still pressures girls to have their "perfect wedding" in their 20's. I think that may change in the future.
From my observations:
The 22-29 year olds who are single seem to fall in groups
1)career focused
2) footloose travellers who bum around and work low commitment jobs they can quit.
3) socially inept old maids who are bitter about a break up or pre-kid divorce/anullment
4) Uglier than a mud fence or morbidly obese
5) raising the bastard child and looking for a Daddy.

The girls with boyfriends
1) waiting for a ring, and are impatient about it
2) been engaged for 2 years or more.
3) Has a guy with potential but looking for an upgrade
4) Is stuck with a loser boyfriend but has few other options.
