My first weekend in college as a freshman. Now that I’ve mostly settled down and got my shit in order. it’s time to start approaching.
While eating my chipotle in the restaurant, I saw this girl at the drink stand in front of me who was I think giving me looks.
As I was walking home after eating, the alpha female of a group of 5-6 black girls yelled at me and waved me down telling me to come over there.
I also got a LR from a different girl earlier today

I'm walking to chipotle to get something to eat, and I see this cute black girl next to me at the stop while we were waiting for the light. Couldn't see her face at this point. She was on the phone talking loudly so I didn't really want to approach. But then I think saw her peep at me for a split second so I decided to check
After the walk light turned on, I saw she was heading to chipotle as well. I was a little worried it would look like I was following her, but I got in line behind her anyway. I think I could sense she wanted to talk to me. After she finished her call it looked like she was waiting expectantly. I opened her indirectly:
Me: *Pointing at the dirty tables* You think they clean these tables?
Her: *Smiling* Noooo
Me: I bet you eat like that
Her: Noo I'm a clean eater
Me: Riiight
Her: I ammm
...
(Blah Blah filler convo I cant remember)
(Grabbed her number)

At this point we were at the front of the line ordering our food. Whenever the employee would cut us off she would reengage a few seconds later. I reengaged a few time as well on purpose to balance that investment.
After we paid I suggested we sit down and eat but she says she's going drinking with her friend. So I bid her farewell.
Not even up to 40 minutes later, she texts me first saying my chipotle suggestion was good. Feel like I messed up a bit on the texting:
It would’ve been different if i called her cutie in person first, but the hey cutie over text may have been too forward. I was trying to reward her for texting me first
She hasn’t texted back in 5 hrs

Her: Yup! I love making red beans and rice. I can also make cornbread, yams, etc.
Me: Sounds great.
Her: I'm totally down to show you
Me: For sure. Where you live at?
Her: [FRESHMAN DORM]
Me: Ohh so you a freshman
Her: Actually, I graduated lol. I'm 23. I'm one of the coordinators over there.
Her: How old are you?
Me: How old do I look?
Her: Aboutttt 22
Me: Actually I'm 21.

Me: Now that I'm thinking about it chipotles unhealthy. We can slide over to that dorm right now and u can show me what ur made of.
