Flakes

I have a question for anyone willing to answer.

I just recently had a girl flake on me for the first date. I'm not going to get into what she said; she flaked. I read the article on "how to deal with flakes" and the methods seemed to work!
Anyways, I was thinking about rescheduling. The article said not to do set a new date then and there. So i guess my question is, should I wait for her to text me to reschedule? (sounds stupid rereading it haha.) Or should I text her sometime this week to reschedule? If so, should I let it sit and marinate or be quick about it and text her the next day?

I would say text her sometime maybe around the start of next week, but more than likely she's going to be busy with the holidays. You can send a neutral message sometime next week , if you don't hear from here before then, such as "Hey June, just wishing you a happy holidays " ("mix to your liking and your taste.")

Either way, with a neutral message like this, you can gauge her interest and how busy she's going to be in the upcoming days or so. You don't want to seem overeager or "chase" a girl by texting her too soon. Play it cool and by ear and you should be fine, a lot times girls just want to test you to see if you chase. Handle well and with style and you should be good.
