Friends or something more?

Hey guys quick question. There are a couple of girls I used to talk to back when I used to suck with women and we flirted a little bit but it never got passed that because I was just too inexperienced to know any better what to do.

So now one of them has recently become single (not that it would generally stop me but her ex was a good friend of mine). We got into a brief convo (over text) because we both went to a college visit and I messaged her on Facebook and told her we should meet up while we were there (I saw she posted a pic of herself at the college). She said her messenger was messed up but messaged me back and said "awh that would've been so fun!" And asked if I liked it up there. I suggested she give me her number and we will talk more about it. So now that I have her number I plan on suggesting that we meet up and talk more about it. How do I make it sound like I just don't want to hang out with her but make it sound more like a date? I'm afraid if i say "we should meet up and talk about it" that she will think I just want to be her friend. Any tips or advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

Ask her out like any other girls. If you're already in the friend zone, I don't think it matters how you ask her out (unless you use the word 'date', then you'll be forcing her to decide if she wants more) , otherwise she'll still think you guys are just gonna hang out as friends.

I say get her out, then treat her not like a friend.

don't make it sound like anything. show her. have her experience it as a date, if thats what you want.

arrive at her house with flowers and chocolates (make sure that when she opens the door she can't see them, have them behind your back) - then all of a sudden spring them upon her with a ''TAA-DAAA'' and a bit toothy megawatt smile.

then drive her to a restaurant (an expensive one) - make sure you make a bit of small talk in the car (try to keep it awkward so that when you finally get talking at the restaurant, she will be thinking ''wow this guy is amazing, i can't believe i thought he was awkward'' (basically she will be surprised, women like surprises.)

once you are sitting down, now the real talk begins. you want to bombard her with conversation about you job, your plans, your hobbies - just makes yourself sound like a real cool guy, you know?

after dinner, walk her to the car and drive her home. once you are home, get out of the car, open her door, give her a peck on the cheek and wish her a goodnight

And then I spend the next few weeks mourning because she won't text me back right? And in the mean time it don't approach any girls because I know she will eventually come around. Haha jk seriously love your comments Nova they're hilarious!
