Ok, so there's this girl I met a few weeks ago at a party. Long story short, I grabbed her number and asked her out on a date. She said "yeah, but I dunno when I'm free, I'll let you know" or something along those lines. I said ok. A few days later, I texted her if she knows when she's free. she didn't reply. So basically. she wasn't interested.
The following weekend, I hooked up with one of her best friends at her bday party. Two days later, she texted me back saying "she forgot to text me back" (LOL). We set up a date. Said date was two days ago. Somehow, I fucking messed it up big time. I wasn't paying attention, and I came off as a little bit too friendly/"nice guy". Also, it was harder to create intrigue when we had a bunch of mutual friends. Frankly, I could even feel that I came off as more "normal" and "harmless" than I usually do on dates.
Anyways...I text her a few days later asking her out again. Her response is:
"I totally would, but I'm going to the pumpkin patch with my BF on Sunday. Are you free any other day?"
I'm 100% sure she has no BF. I've seen her dancing with multiple guys at parties, and I've never seen her with anyone resembling anything even close to a BF. Furthermore, even if she did have one, she's obviously down to cheat on him...given that she had never mentioned him up till this point. So this was clearly just a play to FZ me. I replied by not even acknowledging the BF frame. My response was:
" Yeah, that's np. How about sometime next week?"
to which she replied:
'Sure, I'll let you know when I can!" <---This is the same type of ambiguous response she gave me when I first got her number.
Given that I do actually schedule another "date" with her, is there anything I can do to turn this around? Or am I already in the friendzone?
