I found an awesome thread where Chase states guys should dress and act like what a certain type of girl wants (i.e. Ghetto girls like tough thugs, so dress like a tough thug if you want these girls).

I just needed some clarification on some things, but that thread is dead so I'll ask them here. Hope this helps other guys out too!

1. Should you dress like a girl's boyfriend/social group or dress like what they find sexy?

From what I've heard and seen, these are two completely different things. Hot tan college girls I'm sort of friends with will be dating guys with boring haircuts and no muscles who dress like jr high school kids, while talking about how sexy Zac Efron or Channing Tatum is on Twitter. So do I dress like who they're with or who they wish they were with?

2. Should you dress to stand out then or not?

The younger you are, the more guys tend to look the same. So how much should you stand out? I think too much would make you seem unrelatable.

3. Should you skip individual preferences of what girls find sexy, and just try to dress as generally sexy as possible?

With the hotter girls I've gotten out on dates, I look nothing like any of their past boyfriends, yet I got them interested in me. My goal is to look more like a bad boy (fitted leather jackets, boots, faded jeans. Like Hank Moody), but since Chase said to dress like what a type of girl wants, I'm now unsure if that's the sexiest route to go.

I'm 19 if that helps tailor your answers and solutions, but feel free to explain how the answers change when your older and out of college, that'd be cool too.

Hope to get a reply, I feel like this could be a cool discussion. My bad for any spelling errors, typed this on my phone!

Dress the way thay YOU want, the reason some people look good or sexy or watevs in certain styles is because they wear it because they like it and wear it with confidence, girls dont like a guy whos gonna keep switching it up for them, be yourself and youll have girls attracted not because of your style but because you wear yourself with pride and confidence. Just my couple of cents.

You can't go wrong with the bad-boy look as long as you remember to add some sharpness with say a dress shirt or some jewellery, otherwise you run the risk of looking a slob.

However unless you have a shitload of very similar bad-boy jackets, jeans etc you'll want to change it up a little, I tend to sit on a continuum between smart/elegant casual and bad-boy depending on my mood, with a little cowboy thrown in.

What works best for you will depend on your vibe and style, where you live and as you mentioned, your demographic. For instance reading Richard's LRs he often gets about in basketball shorts, and I'm presuming some Lakers or Celtics or whatever tops / singlets or whatever, this isn't my style since the most casual I'd go would be denim or canvas shorts with a tight t-shirt... but if you basically think what you're most comfortable in, then do it really well, you're good!

My advice is dress to the area you live in.

I grew up in a pretty rough, rowdy, and ghetto environment (all my LRs prior to this year were basically in the ghetto) and so I had to dress in accordance with that environment. Dressing with dress shirts, nice pants, and any preppy or casual style would make you stand out in a bad way. Drawing too much attention to yourself is not something you want to do in a place where guys look for any reason to turn violent.

But, this year I've been in college somewhere else and the quality of dressing is much different. Now I can dress more in accordance with my style which isn't basketball shorts and a jersey haha =)

Dress to the area you live in.
