Furniture advice

So this week I am moving to the CBD and will have a wicked apartment and bitchin' logistics, living far out in the burbs as I have since discovering GC has been pretty challenging but in a good way, I am glad to have about 4 or 5 successful pulls to home, a few of them from the CBD, and 1 lay from the latter. However I regret not having any pulls to home from the shopping centre across the road, I find that place challenging due to being enclosed and b/c losing my momentum while dithering about whether to approach, the hot girls are there but there's a lot of bullshit too. Maybe if I push myself hard I can get a lay from there before handing the keys back

Now to my question, I am selling most of my furniture and I have to furnish the new apartment. I need to buy a couch because my current lounge is much too huge, bought it pre GC. I am thinking something like this:

This is probably bigger than what I need, seduction wise, but I have a weakness for chaises, also I might actually have to entertain and since it will (obviously) be the only seating I think I should not go too small. Your thoughts?

I prefer leather because it is more durable and looks better, maybe in a blue or a light grey... but I am considering fabric because I think a more downmarket look might be better for seduction... if I can appear as a poor mature age postgrad student renting a room near his uni... this would be one way to play it, reducing boyfriend and provider value. OTOH considering my age (38 soon to be 39), according to Chase's articles women expect me to be already successful or I will appear weak and unattractive. I can certainly go the tasteful expensively decorated look (this appt actually has a powder room and my brother's gf is gonna help me decorate it)... but what is better? The expensive look is probably more "me" and congruent with my elegant-casual wardrobe... but lately I have been going more bad-boy and getting better reactions... can also argue that once I pull them home it's basically only the endgame anyway...??

About my bed I currently have a $40 model (double) from Ikea which is working fine for me. It's congruent with the poor student image especially if I put a small desk and swivel chair in my bedroom. But what I really want is to buy this:

I chose this because it is in a light timber that I like, and because there are plenty of options for tying my girl to it. I have not actually tried bondage but in my last lay I found that dominance agrees with me. So any tips for getting a bondage scenario happening would be appreciated. Note my current bed also has exposed posts I can use. Should I try the bondage with my regular GF first to gain experience? I have not built much compliance with her although she is an auto invester so things tend to work out. Hmm. I think best to introduce it earlier (i.e. in my next cold approach lay... as round 2 perhaps) so as to avoid any congruence issues... your thoughts? On the bed, the image to present, and the bondage?

Hey there. I saw your post from Monday and have been meaning to get up a solid reply with some photos. Still haven't gotten the time so I'll give you the main details and later on a more comprehensive guide.

Yeap, if you want to sell the furniture and buy new ones then do it. If space isn't a problem then go for a big sofa. How BIG can a couch be. One three seater can do the job but if you want to then get the set. Not everything has to be directed towards seduction and something like furniture, while still important, it shouldn't be a big concern. Get what makes you comfortable. When you are comfortable the girl will sense that and be comfortable too.

I like leather too so we have something in common. It's easier to clean than cloth ones and has a nice feel to it. The downfall of leather is that it tears easier than cloth but with proper care it should be fine. If you're going to have rough sex on a leather couch then be prepared to spend extra cash on a repair or new one a lot more often. Blue is my favourite color so I would pick blue. I also like white ones with red throw pillows in it. If the couch is going to rest against the wall then paint the wall in a contrast color. That means if you get a blue chair then white or a light yellow background would go well with it. You get the idea? Girls are good at decorating so explain what you want done and let your brother's girlfriend do her magic.

Yes at 38/39 women expect you should be accomplished. And you said you can afford the expensive decorated look. Do it bro, if you already express interest in it then do what you love. Being perceived as a poor post-grad student would fit me more since I'm 18. At my age it would be totally congruent. At your age show a side of an already successful man, a man who has been there and done that. Go the expensive way.

Extra Tip: If possible then get a king size bed. There are headboards to go with king size beds that have places to tie a girl onto. That's what you want so get a king size bed with plenty of spaces to tie a girl onto. A man your age needs to show success. Decorate the bedroom with a:

Dresser
2 Bed side tables
Chess Drawer
Wardrobe
Medium size desk and chair

An what fun would it be if you didn't have a go go/club pole in the centre of the bedroom. If possible get that done and get stools ( cushion ones ) to sit on beside the poll so the girl can climb the poll ( the bedroom one ) then fall back onto your branch. You'll be glad she did.

The bed looks nice to me.

I'd try out new sexual stuff with a regular girlfriend first, yeah. It's lower pressure and she'll be more willing to put up with you poking around and not being a pro the first time out.

If you decide to do experimental new things with new girls the first time you sleep with them, just make sure you've both had something to drink and you can write it off as you being drunk and sloppy (and follow up with some proper sex later that night or the morning after).

Hey guys thanks for the help particularly Troy for the detailed advice and suggestions. I've been owing a response for a while.

As to the furniture I got myself a pretty cheap fabric lounge / chaise / sofa bed just to have something for now, cos it was in the warehouse in stock, didn't have to be ordered and ticked a lot of boxes. Unfortunately I bought sight unseen (only looked at a similar couch in same fabric since it was an ebay purchase) and although the fabric is great the frame is a bit carelessly put together. So my plan of having it covered in blue leather further down the track might not fly. Whatever, I love it.

I've decided to have an entertainment unit, a breakfast bar, a desk and some coffee tables custom made to my dimensions (mainly need the breakfast bar so I can entertain since I love hosting dinner parties, will be able to handle 6+ guests)... I spoke to a dude who will supply recycled timber such as oak or redgum (an Australian species) and laminate into bench / desk / table tops, dress it, bore out spaces for the connecting hardware according to my drawings and then oil the wood for me, it will be a bit like Ikea but seriously built and not pissweak. I just have to find a supplier for feet and change my informal drawings to formal ones and he will do the rest.

As to the bedroom I don't really have plans yet, maybe I'll custom make a bed if the experience with the lounge furniture is good. I also want to put fittings in the ceiling that could be used for handles (to have a petite Asian woman walk on my back) or maybe for a sex swing when I feel like it (kids would love that too hahaha). I'm not sure about the stripper pole, it's a great idea but the bedroom is kinda narrower than I was imagining when I wrote above post... maybe if I take pole dancing lessons in future I will implement the pole.
