Some time ago I posted an extremely interesting video of Johnny Depp doing a WHOLE interview with his gaze always low and relatively shy body language and YET clearly being a super cool guy
This time, let's take a look at the Godfather.
He's aggressed and doesn't respond in kind (and when he does, not as aggressively as Mo), he keeps his eyes low, he speaks mostly with low voice.
Compare it to Mo Green, waltzing in the room like he owns it, talking like the boss, screaming at the The Godfather and threateningly pointing his finger directly at him.
He also seem to have more support in the room with Fredo acting like his little flunky.
Yet the Godfater seem more powerful because he doesn't lose his temper.
And because it's him who opens the discussion and closes it, much to Mo's annoyance.
And, my opinion, is that he comes across as very cool BECAUSE his body language is weaker and yet he keeps control (notice also at the end, he sits "normally" and compare it with the Consiglieri who is all spread out).
Had his body language been like Mo Green, that it would have been a race to who's more alpha.
I believe The Godfather comes out on top and looking so cool in big part because he calls himself out of the alpha race.
