Girl always tries to delay a date but then signs up for an event I organize

She said she was busy because of work and she "wasn't doing that on purpose". She did twice. So I just nexted her.

Then I organise an event on a social network where everybody can see I am the organiser and she signs up immediately. It felt a little strange because I had completely gotten her out of my mind.

What the hell is she up to? Trying to friend-zone me? Playing games?

There are also other pretty girls at this event. Should I just not pay to much attention to her and talk a lot with the others?

If she seems interested then by all means "get er done", if not then just act like you don't even notice amigo.

Could be a simple response to you being scarce. You quit contacting her, fell off the map, and she got a pang of, "Oh no, I've lost him!"

I'd go to the event planning not to pay her much mind, and to mostly use her as preselection for meeting other girls. If that develops into something more, nicely done; if not, you won't have gotten your head into an unproductive space.
