Girl firing off a bunch of questions

Approached a real hot girl yesterday. She was just my type. Did the usual opener and I could tell she was massively high interest and LOVED my approach. Her eyes and demeanour just lit up like a christmas tree. She even got real up close to me as well. Thing is immediately afterwards she proceeded to fire off a bunch of questions immediately, asking me about myself, one after the another. It was literally a case of she'd ask me a question, I'd answer it then she'd follow up with another one straight away and I could never get in the control of leading the conversation. What should you do in these sorts of situations? I know I'm getting a little better at this though as instead of being an interviewer with me asking a bunch of questions I elaborate on what she says and try to connect with what she's saying and get into her vibe and respond more on an emotional level. so I'm floating around on her emotions. And I know I need to flirt and tease MUCH more. But what to do about all the questions? It's very hard to lead the conversations when she's being like a bit of an interviewer lol

You're overthinking this.

Just pause 2-3 seconds (count Mississippis) before answering.

Don't answer questions directly. Maybe take a few detours in your answers.

If it's really overkill, I'd tease her like "[Name], are you interviewing me?" or put feelers out for a roleplay where you make her information gathering/questions seem suspicious like:

(Looking at her skeptically) Okay that's like the 20th question: I'm starting to worry what you're going to do with all this information.

And depending on her response you can play a bit of improve and accuse her of being a spy trying to ruin some grand secret enterprise you've got going on like the stuff here or the roleplay-specific stuff here.

But really anything that interrupts the pattern/her single minded focus (and then branches into something new) would work well I'd imagine.

There's an example in there that goes like so:

HER: … then we take the shipments over to—

YOU: Yeah, that’s great, but – do you know what’s interesting?

HER: Uh, no?

YOU: I notice every so often you do this little head shake thing, like this. [demonstrate] It’s funny, and it’s kind of cute. It’s like a little signature. Why do you do that?

HER: Do I? Oh, ah… I don’t know!

YOU: Don’t be embarrassed! I like it. At least you aren’t standing there stiff like a doll. Do you dance? A lot of people who like to move around like that tend to be pretty kinesthetic, I find.

HER: blah blah blah

If you imagine that instead of the girl's first statement it's instead another boring question, your response could be very similar:

YOU: Yeah, it's a fun place to work, but – do you know what’s interesting?

And then go into whatever makes sense at the time: an insightful cold read, a compliment/observation like in the example etc.
