Girl I slept with on first date now giving me radio silence,what did I do wrong?

Ok so there's this girl I slept with on a first date a week and a half ago. Slept with her on Thursday night, texted her the next day (friday) with this:

"Hey ****! had a great time last night. Hope you got the bus back ok in the end "

She then texted me later in the evening with this:

"hey ***, there was an accident in town last night so my bus didn't turn up! Ended up getting the taxi home after all :-("

I then texted her sunday with this:

"urgh that sucks! anyway really enjoyed thursday night, what days you free this coming week so we can meet again?"


That was last week. Haven't heard anything since. Can't think of anything during the date that I did wrong so my only reasoning is that the sex I gave her probably wasn't good enough or that I texted too late. Maybe I should have texted her saturday? What do you guys think?

I then texted her sunday with this:

Your first mistake here was probably waiting until Sunday to reply to her. She sent you a text back with some feedback which was rough for her -- she ended up having to take a taxi because of the accident, and you just kinda ignored that until two days later. Keep in mind that once you've slept with a girl, you want your warmth to go up and your aloofness to go down.

Your second mistake was probably the actual text itself -- you pretty much dismissed her problem with an "ugh, that sucks!" without really showing any compassion toward her issue. Girls will pick up on this type of stuff. The text back probably should have been something more like:

"Oh shit! That sucks! Did the taxi show up relatively quickly at least?"

...and then maybe have a short, warm exchange here where you end on a good note (i.e. "well, I'm glad you're safe anyway. Have a great weekend " )

After you've had a short exchange like that, you can text a girl at the beginning of the following week (on Monday or Tuesday probably) to see how her weekend was, and then ask her if she's free to get together again during the week.

ok cheers franco, however is there any way I can turn this around though? Thinking of sending her another text, I know I'm going to have to be uber warm this time. What should i send her this time?

Just call her man - have a smile as you do it & genuinely just try and find out how she's been. Girls can feel used,especially after quick sex,so its important to be warm,playful & friendly.
