Have a date today and I wanted to take the girl out for drinks and bounce home. I told her the name of the restaurant, she said she loves pizza there. How can I make it a drinks date?

To avoid such issues, it's usually better to prevent them from happening in the first place, instead of trying to remedy them after the fact. If I'm meeting a girl on a day 2, I almost always never tell the girl in advance where we'll be going. Instead I just tell them to meet me at a specific location (e.g. by the fountain at a park, a specific cool monument etc...) and then go from there. I also avoid restaurants (for obvious reasons) and almost always take them to a lounge bar / cocktail bar / shisha bar. Some of them do serve food but it's rarely an issue once she's there. In this specific case, I would probably meetup as planned (since it was your suggestion and she mentioned she loves the pizza there) as it may be a bit difficult to do a last minute bait and switch. Order drinks as planned and avoid any metion of food (she may forget). If she feels like ordering the pizza while there well there's not a whole lot you can do I think. As @Skills mentions, for food it's better to take them to mexican / taco restaurants since the food is lighter and isn't as heavy as a pizza.

I would also add for drink dates, it helps to take them to a place where the staff / waitresses / bartenders (even the manager) knows you and treat you well. When I was newer to all this, there was a specific loungebar / cafe I'd go to for lunch specials with my crew or drinks with my pivots / female friends or just by myself to practice my hired gun game (heh old habits die hard). Eventually, I built up good rapport with the entire staff and management to the point where they'd give me key insights on the waitresses I was gaming, and I'd get special discounts so I'd always take day 2's there by default.

Also I think pizza calls for wine, and wine calls for sex, but that's just how I think.

But yeah, places with cool drinks are way more seductive and have a vibe more conducive to seduction, also food will make the girl "work her stomach" and maybe not be so confortable with sex, maybe, but some good dining experience can also be romantic/conducive to seduction imao

Oh and ya too your second point, I used to go to regular restaurant and some of the staff got jealous of me going there with new girls. One of the bar manager said "you seem to be having a time of your life" with a straight face and I said "indeed" with a straight face too.

Hmm.. there's a point in that. I've normally gone for light dinners of at all. Let's see how this turns out to be. If anything, another lesson.

Cause you are in brazil, not usa here pizza super bloaded, when i talk mexican is specifically tacos.. no heavy mexican food... but again main point is not courtship and no bloat or doahrreah obviously no conductive to sex...

The issue I have with that text is that now you're directly challenging her preferences by saying "pizza is heavy for dinner" AFTER she said: 'I really like the pizza there!' and trying to directly change her mind which will usually cause her to double down on her orig preference. It's one thing let's say if you BOTH made dinner plans and at some point you go: ""Ehhh... you know I'm not really feeling like pizza tonight, but there's this new Mexican place that I've heard great things about, how 'bout we try that instead this time?" she'll usually agree, v/s in this case where she specifically wants the pizza after your restaurant suggestion, and you're trying to change her mind.

Food fight! All good, I'm a foodie myself heh. Obviously the devil is in the details, but in this case I specifically meant tacos I guess, not a masive burrito or something. One of my good Mexican friends actually was head chef @ a Mexican restaurant here, and I found the food pretty light. Traditional Italian food isn't too heavy either actually, the issue is the Westernized versions with massive portions et al. Even a traditional pasta dish (83g pasta -> approx 55-57g carbs for the foodie inclined) can be light per se. As for wine (red), it always calls for sex in my book.

Correct yes, pizza has a more casual / chillout kind of a vibe even in Italian restaurants it has the perception of being a "cheap food" whereas pasta + wine is considered a bit more more formal.

One of my good Mexican friends actually was head chef @ a Mexican restaurant here, and I found the food pretty light. Traditional Italian food isn't too heavy either actually, the issue is the Westernized versions with massive portions et al. Even a traditional pasta dish (83g pasta -> approx 55-57g carbs for the foodie inclined) can be light per se. As for wine (red), it always calls for sex in my book.

Yeah one if my friends used to have a homemade pizza business and his stuff was divine... I guess food can always be heavy or light depending on the skill of the one preparing.

Ya, kinda had to give in cos it was my suggestion to begin with. Now if I go too hard, would sound like I'm being a dickhead. If it was in person, I'd have said something like "No wonder, you look so sexy", looking at her ass and change the topic to pull her into my frame but don't want to sexualize over text. Can agree with this and ya, it's authentic Italian cuisine. So, I'm guessing it's not heavy as a westernized pizza. So, should be good.
