First off if you haven't read this gym pickup article chase wrote a while back, I'd start here

The thing with gym pickup is that it is a social circle environment in some sense.
Ok even before that; to meet girls at the gym you probably have to lift at least a little. I'm guesing you do and prolly do quite a bit. That first box is checked off good; the reason for that is that like you are gaming ina sort of niche, and you have to fit the sexy guy archetype of that niche if you want to get the girls in the niche (even if your game and fundamentals were ridiculously good, to clean up in teh distinct niche you'd have to be at least a little attuned to and familiar and fitting to the niche ... as chase talks about in the very first post of
viewtopic.php?f=3&t=5840 )
Once you fit the niche and are a guy that lifts; then the next thing to consider is that the gym is a social circle. If you go at a certain time 4plus days a week, you will run into many of the same girls over and over again. If your fundmanetals are good you will likely be WAY further than most of the meatheads at the gym, and she'll be looking your way a little bit or at least have noticed you before or be aware of you or know who you are and curious about you (at the very least).
Once again though, it is a social circle: and one with a lot of socially awkward guys who are "just going for it". There are pervy old dudes that go and talk to girls ask them with help taking weights down, complienment their outfits, try to get in a conversation about something, critique their form and try to talk more about that etc. There are also regular guys some nice guys and some roid head guys that do this as well. (also besides the dudes not approaching the girls, I'd say 95% of the other guys are regular guyhs who are there to lift but who can't help but depserately check out the hot girls a few glances every minute). AT best they get friendzoned and get to exchange a few words each time they see the girl and feel like they are making some progress with her. More often, they talk and then the girl moves away and then they are left withteir tails between thei legs and go do whatever they are working out at. The girls have some guys they are male friends with and talk to a tiny bit and then besides that they have their girlfriends and their workouts.
There are two camps of girls; there are girls that workout to wokro out and make progress with their work out. And there are girls who are there to dress flashy look "good" and attract and garner as muh male attention as they possibly can.
The first type of girl is more "gettable" (or at least just the type I know how to get). And you have to sort of folow the slow game method that Chase talks about in his article.
Why gym game is discouraged is that:
- girls will be colder to approach because of all the loser guys checking them out approach ing them or both
girls potentially want to work out and dnot want to be distacte
girls have MASSIVE implicit value from all the dick that wants them points at them and flocks to them, and you face that and have to cirumvent that if you want any shot of getting out on a date with the girls sometime
you have to fit the character fit the role of guy that gets gym girl, and sorta can't if you aren't in that role a little bit (and lift a little bit; example of this is that Chase for example has top notch game, Colt does too... but Colt is also an avid dancer, at the dancing bars Colt has an edge to getting theg als that Cahse doesn't ... he's in his niche, while Chase is ina foreign one... and much tougher to clean up nicely in that case).
There's also the case of if she's a regular or not; andin many respects the girls who aren't regualrs are easier cause you can get their number same day where regulars you have to slow game a bit (as talked about in the article). i've never had any luck with regulars, but have gone out on dates with a few different "randomly there at that time but not usually there at that time" gym girls.
How to get the first type of girl:
So she's giving you signs she's into you etc., you have strong fundamnetals can work out near her ina smooth and very subtle way (talked about all more in depth in the article) and open indirectly, banter and lightly deep dive for a bit, maybe tease and bust her stones a tiny bit if it fits the girl and teh conversation/approach, then get her number/set to meet sometime and get back to your workout.
The one thing the article doesn't cover i belive, and that I'll mention here: is that with these approaches and interactions you have at the gym, you generally want them to be LONGER to some degree and connect witht he girl fairly well. If she thinks you're hot youhave intense eye contact and moments adn you talk to her flirt a bit get her number and go abck to lifting, IN MY EXPERIENCE, these numbers tend to flake (or have flaked in each respective case of this sort for myself).
If you give it like 10 min. or so (maybe a touch less or a touch more) talk to the girl a bit longer than you would a street apoproach banater ocnnect interact loner, get to know each other a little bit more. And then naturally get off conversation but want to contiue it further afterwards like in

I hope it does for me too; would be my first social circle gym lay the day that happens. I met two mexican girls today who are always swooping around me when I'm lifting and trying to focus on my workout... I think something might come out of it and will slow game it and see what happens.
Random gym girls are still preferred by me though
