I'll text a girl to set up a date, then cut the conversation by telling her I'll text her closer to the date to figure a small detail out (i.e. usually a specific time as opposed to time of day). I usually leave a detail out so the text prior to the meet up seems more natural and less needy.
However, when I text them the day before the date in order to confirm if we're still on/to figure out that one detail, I get flaked on. They'll often say the day no longer works for them, or that they're unsure if they're free anymore (both could be real life schedule conflicts). Or some girls just ignore my confirmation text altogether.
Any idea what's happening here? Is it possible me asking if they're still free is putting myself in a weaker position and therefore making myself look unattractive?
