Girls Making Fun of You

I was in a negotiations class today. I had to do a fake child support scenario with this girl in my class. I was very dominant and almost selfish throughout the exercise but not mean. I teased the girl a little but also never gave in to what she wanted me to do.

Today, in class she said jokingly I looked like someone who tied his shoes still with "Bunny Ears."

Can anyone explain why she reacted like this? When I was around her in class I was dominant and the exact opposite of a funny guy or a nice guy.Why is she reacting like this? Girls are usually too nervous to say something like this around me.

Sounds like this girl was shit testing you, and that's a great thing! Girls shit test guys all the time to see how they will react and to gather information about their character. You said you were acting dominant in the exercise, and thus probably conveyed that you have a ton of confidence. The reason she shit tested you like that was to see how you would react. She wanted to know if you are actually confident, or if you are just faking it. If you reacted in a negative way (got upset) then she would realize that you are most definitely not confident and your display of dominance was fake. If you reacted in a positive way (brushed it off) then she would realize you actually are confident.

Girls only really shit test guys they are interested in.

Anyways, how did you handle it when she said that? My favourite way (its the most basic way) to handle shit tests like these is to agree and amplify. I would have said. "How did you know? I still do tie my shoes with bunny ears. I even won a world record for being able to tie my shoes like that really quick."

That's a good move. Why? You didn't care, and you put her in her own test.
Backstory has a good one.
Some people may also suggest to be subtle by doing a smartass smile (left corner up) and then continue what you were doing, but what you did was fine too as long as you said it with authority. You being the judger and her being judged..

Thanks. I thought she honestly thought I was an idiot and was making fun of me because during our negotiation exercise I didn't compromise with her at all. I basically got her to give in to what I wanted in every aspect of the deal so I thought she was making fun of me for not being smart enough to know how to negotiate with someone.

She was an italian girl from New Jersey so I had to be a little more uncompromising with her
