Strange...
I've been texting girls and they don't banter back. I know, move fast and ask her out and don't banter but it's tempting and I like bantering so I can't help it at times when the girl's obviously excited to see me.

So, I try to set up a date, and they reply relatively fast and make it easy.
But when I stick a banter or push and pull in the middle or start a new conversation with banter, they won't reply to it.
Then when I send a let's hang out text or follow up on the date, they reply again, easy and fast!
Strange because other girls who want to see me have bantered back before, but these ones don't.

Wonder if there's deeper reason behind it, what does it tell me about them?

Replying to a date request is easy. Its a yes/no question. Replying to banter is hard. Makes her feel like she has to come up with a substantive response or else seem bitchy/aloof. I'm the exact same way. I hate when girls try to talk to me over text. It annoys me. Feels like a waste of my time and energy. So I seldom reply quickly. Cause if I do, she'll reply right back. Then we're in this long-ass texting convo which seemingly has no purpose. Conversely, if she asks me out on a date (has happened a few times), I'll reply instantly cause I know she means business. And I know this conversation is going somewhere.

Good point on both!
It's weird that they ignore it completely though despite being attracted (If they weren't, they won't jump right into business when I go back to logistics talk). I would at least try, but then again, I love wittiness! Lost many girls this way, hesitation and losing sight on the ball.
Then again, they means business!
Guess it's better to lay off the banter over text, lest their head explodes before their horniness does.
