Never been a huge mainstream sports guy (except for UFC). Mostly been interested in E-Sports.

But that being said, I've attracted to winners, even if they're a bit dirty. Plus, most Pats fans i know are bosses.

So go Pats.

Go Pats!

Love watching a team put the dick on everyone and crush millions of people's hopes year after year, in spite of all the hate. How delicious;)

Why would anyone want to live in Phili anyway (aside from phili cheesesteaks ofc)?

First of all it’s Philly. Seriously, I love it here. Great food, strong urban bones, rich history, art, amazing universities, leading healthcare systems, passionate fans and a bit of a comeback come up culture. It seems to have a bit of a PR issue but I can’t say I’m any more inspired with any other city I’ve been to in the US. Different, they’ve got their charm, but I see grit and warmth come together here.
And seriously, having the Eagles crush through the Pats couldn’t be more satisfying. I don’t have issues with Boston, I’m just looking at the Pats and watching their glory fade. The win against Jacksonville was close but the Eagles dominated the Vikings and denied the first home field Super Bowl. We’ll see in two weeks.

My team (the Chargers) are out of the running. So I'm barely paying attention at this point, lol.

But that's just like every other season with them... *sulks silently in the corner for a few minutes*

;P

Franco,

Do you need a hug? A hug that pushes the boundaries of being more than a bro-hug?

I promise I might buy some kind of dinner afterwards. ;)

Whoa, a rematch? [checks NFL.com...] Yup, looks like the Iggles are back in the Super Bowl vs. the Pats again.

Can't reasonably say they're "my team" anymore since they got rid of McNabb, Owens, Westbrook, Andy Reid... heck, even Duce Staley (Duuuuce!). And B. Dawk! Baddest ass free safety of all time. I think most/all those guys are probably retired now. Been a long time since I watched sports.

Don't even know who's on the Eagles anymore. Probably just Jon Runyan, he was like the only guy they never got rid of (edit: just looked him up... looks like he retired, then was actually in the U.S. House of Representatives for four years. And now he's a VP with the NFL. What an interesting career path).

(edit 2: In a Sports Illustrated magazine in October 2006, Runyan was ranked second on a list of the Dirtiest Players in the NFL.[12] Bills linebacker Shawne Merriman stated that Runyan "was one of the dirtiest players I've ever been against in my whole entire life. He was real good at being dirty". lol...)

Anyway, hopefully whoever their quarterback is doesn't get sick and start puking up Campbell's chunky soup like McNabb did the first time around. That was a major bummer in XXXIX...

McNabb's out of the league, Brady's still cleaning up. I always liked McNabb... hard not to root for Brady at least a little bit though. Always rooted for the Patriots whenever it was anybody other than the Eagles they were playing. Gotta respect the opponent that beats you fair and square.

...

Looks like McNabb retired as an Eagle. That's nice.

Then got fired from ESPN due to sexual harassment allegations. Kind of a weird one, like Tiger Woods (wholesome public image, followed by sexual allegations. Weird when you see those disconnects between public and private).

Congratulations to the Philadelphia Eagles for winning Super Bowl 52. I predicted that the New England Patriots would win this game, but the Eagles came to play. They played all 4 quarters against the GOAT Tom Brady. This team proved a lot of people wrong and actually won.

Couldn’t have asked for a better win! Tom had a great game, his most Super Bowl yards and still lost. This city just released a ton of tension and despite some of the sensationalized headlines, it was overwhelmingly incredible good energy!
Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles has come a long way from second string to embarrassing Tom Brady in a few weeks. I can’t say I feel for Pats fans, you had your day. Go Eagles! 2018 Champions!
