Going to prom with a friend

Hi all,

I just asked a close friend of mine to prom and she said yes, but the vibe seems to be that it is just a "friendly" thing. I understand Chase said to just drop the girl and move on, I'm not chasing her in any way, we are actually just good friends and I'd like to keep it that way. However...

I wouldn't mind hitting that. So what tactics would you suggest I use on the night to try to get her to see me as more that just a friend? Even if it is just for the night.

Quick story about prom,

The girl I was chasing in high school said no to me to going to prom (electing to go alone instead), and boy was that a shocker. I had just started reading GC material and ended up trying to make her jealous by paying attention to other girls, and boy did it work. Unfortunately it sent her into auto-rejection and she didn't want anything to do with me at the end of the night, but I did go home and sleep with my friends date which I was primarily using to make her jealous.
