So I had a great date with this Japanese girl, but she is not responsive to texts.
We met at bar and we hit it off... we concerned about work, life in Japan, our dating experiences, what we are looking for. She was sitting across from me and I made a move beside her and kissed her on the cheek. She was extremely shy about it. I dropped a couple of compliments on her looks. And I noticed she seemed the type to not take compliments well. She told me people tell her she is smart and cute but no one has complimented her on her eyes and lips, but she liked the compliment. I brought up the idea for the second date that we go to a comedy show and she agreed.
She hinted at the time (11pm) and we headed on out. We talked about about my car.
She lived really close by and my car was in the opposite direction, so we hugged each other and said good bye. Now I noticed her face seemed surprised about this and I think this is were the interaction went wrong.
I didn't attempt to go home with her because I noticed she was a shy and introverted girl and thought I would be too pushy. I didn't try and kiss her goodbye because it seemed like PDA is not her thing. I am wondering if I should have walked her home or offered her ride .. but again she lived close by.
I am not exactly sure what I did wrong so I appreciate the insights.
