Hi guys, I've been on this site for a while now, and I've read a good chunk (if not most) of the articles on it. I've noticed that Chase doesn't explicitly address the dynamics of approaching a girl who's in a group with her friends and how to handle it. If such an article exists, a link would be greatly appreciated.
If there is no article on this, is it because GC doesn't advocate approaching groups to begin with? Or is it some other reason?
What do you guys think about approaching groups? More specifically, how is it different from approaching someone who's alone? How is it done? Any technique regarding this topic is welcome here.

Also, on a completely unrelated note, I'm wondering how would I deal with women's tests regarding my age. I'm a pretty young guy right now (20, about to turn 21). I feel like this is more or less ok in the college environment in which I have my interactions with girls now. However, when I start going out to clubs/lounges when I turn 21, I'm probably going to run into quite a few older women who write me off just because I'm younger than them, even if they would otherwise be receptive to me.
I don't like directly lying, and I understand I can start off by either adding some intrigue or by making light of her question. For example:
Her: How old are you?
Me: Oh, y'know....just graduated middle school, figured I might as well sneak into a club/lounge/bar as my reward.
If she drops it here, then everything is all well and good, but if she pushes for an answer after this, how would I react? In fact, I guess this could be more generalized. If a women pushes for an answer to ANY QUESTION right after I add some intrigue or blow her question off like this, how do I react?
For example:
Her: How old are you?
Me: Oh, y'know....just had my middle school graduation earlier today, figured I might as well sneak into a club/lounge/bar as my reward.
Her: Haha, seriously though, how old are you? Cause you seem really young.
Me: ???
I don't know how I would reply in this or a similar scenario, because even if I'm non-reactive, it still feels like I would be giving out the vibe of trying to hide something (especially if I look young or like I don't match whatever she's trying to qualify me for).
Obviously, this is all theoretical. I haven't actually ran into a situation like this yet. But I sincerely expect I will.
Thanks guys,
Bboy
