This girl live near me, i have her no. as her sister is hooking up with my cousin brother. So i asked my brother to get her no. for me, and i got her no. talked to her a bit, but she asked me twice that why i wanted to talk to her, i told her because she's cute. It's not gonna be cool to randomly go in front of her house as her family members are probably sitting outside. And that might get me in trouble, not something I want.

BUT, you made a interesting point, chatting up when see her face to face. I've never thought about that. I'll try to do that, but we don't see each other often, it's like, maybe once or twice a month.
