Haircuts

Hello Gentlemen,

I would really like your advice when it comes to haircuts.
My hair is curly, Justin Timberlake style. I currently have it long, but I would prefer to cut it, even though it does get me a lot of attetion. I have searched images around the web, but I am not sure if they are giving of the right Girls-Chase vibe.Something edgy,perhaps? I would really like a straight haircut, but I am not sure if I can achieve it without chemicals. Any advice?

I would really like something like that, but I dont know if I can pull it off with my kind of curls.

Run with Chase's advice:

Get to a hair stylist (preferably, a gay male... not joking here either) and tell them that your their canvas. You want something rugged/rough/sexy/etc.

I never took this route and instead cut my own hair. Right now, I'm rocking a short-ish mohawk that's longest on top of my head and I have it fade down the sides of my head to my sideburns. Girls love it so I see no reason to change it yet.

Hmmm, interesting. Are you on the curly side as well ,Rich? The problem with being white but having curly hair is that you have very few people that you can learn from.

I'm white and have wavy hair (not curly, but still) and my hair grows fast as motherfucker. I've experimented with everything, you name it. And what I've found is that unless you're rocking really iconic hairstyle no one is going to realize it.

For instance, I'd see a model online with cool hair and I'd try to rip it off and it just wasn't that cool without that lightning, the clothes, that angle, etc. like the ones on the pic. I'm now rocking a man bun + undercut and girls fucking love it. It's impossible not grab people's attention.

I don't know if it's trendy where you live, but I got lucky to let my hair grow way before anyone else, so in 6 months I've been rocking I've seen 4-5 other guys rocking it so it's a bonus.

I doubt going for someone like the pic you linked is going to get you massively different attention... it's too subtle. We know because it's our hair and we went through all the trouble to cut it that way but most people go like "hmm, a short haircut".

EDIT: I just saw you mention JT. In that case pulling something longer might be difficult indeed... why don't you copy his shorter hairstyle?
