I feel like focusing on the college girl demographic and doing well with them. In my future, I have plans of going to a college town (my job is very location flexible and I have had offers to places like Isla Vista) but from my own experience in a college town as an undergrad I found it very difficult to pull compared to a big city. Unlike a big city, in a college town, it is like everyone kinda knows each other to an extent and there is a sense of a community. On top of that, since we are talking about the US college scene, you can bet that Greek Life is going to dominate which is going to make already cliquey college girls even cliquier. Then to make matters worse for myself, I am east asian and usually it is the tall white (or in some cases black) jocky looking guys getting the hottest girls in college.
I have heard a lot more failure stories in college towns (such as Sean Larson from Ohio State, the PUA who creeped an entire campus out) and read another story a while back about a guy who was kicked off of campus for daygaming too aggressively.
Then again, I have thought about some ideas on how to get around the barrier that might exist between you and students and one about getting a job at a college bar seems to be a good one. I would like to hear from older guys on here who have had success in college towns (Madison, Isla Vista, Eugene, etc.) and what they did.
