Having your friends help you pick up girls at school

Me and my friend were interested in doing approaches at school, like in the morning or during lunch break. What I was thinking was something like, Example: Your friend walks up to the girl and points at me, saying, "he finds you interesting", or something like that. While he says that I'm in the distance looking off to the side, and since I know she's looking at me i turn my head and meet her eyes, smile and walk up and directly open her. Then my friend would walk away and leave us 2 alone... How does that sound? Give your opinions!

This sounds too complicated. open her yourself. Don't overthink your approach. I can guarantee you whenever you overthink your approach, you're gonna bomb it pretty much every time because it's not gonna look natural.
It's good that you have a wing man though, but if a girl is alone, open her yourself. Your wingman is there to help keep you social and give you a kick in the butt if you don't take action.

I appreaciate you looking out for me but I've done this before, and idk why you think it's so complicated. A friend gles to a girl, points at you tells her you think she cute. You make eye contact, sme then approach, Tada! But my initial question was if it would work? Or would i be seen by the girl as not having balls to do it myself? Thanks

lol if you've done this before, why are u even making this post? Trust your own experience.
I just don't see the reason behind it. It seems unnecessary and less impressive to have someone open for you when you could've done that yourself. Basically, it just shows you don't have the balls to tell her you think she's cute and you need your wing to do it for you. My only experience similar with this is when a girl came up to me and told me her friend thinks I'm cute, and her friend is standing a few meters behind her. My first impression was "oh that girl must be shy". Do you see where I'm going with this? But like I said, if you had good experience using this kinda approach AND it's giving you good results, i.e. dates, then maybe I'm missing something that I couldn't see on the screen. But I can also tell you that you would get even BETTER results if you open a girl yourself.
