Yo Hector!
Found your article on psychopaths to be quite enlightening and wanted to hear more from you as well as others. My main thing is dealing with psychopaths that can get away socially or in corporate culture with their hands clean. I have always run into the type of psychopaths and scumbags who will point fingers at others for lacking morals while lacking the same morals themselves.
So currently, I think I might be dealing with such a scumbag and want to know how to tactfully put him in his place. Unfortunately, this rotten clown was my boss for my first job out of college and I put in my two weeks notice this past Friday.
The guy is a piece of work to be honest with you, I worked in a business role and he would have daily meetings where he would just whine about Trump, racism, and other things while being racist and nasty himself as he gossiped about others. Since he is half black, he can get away with it too.
This guy is without question a narcissist and although I am happy to have put in my two weeks, I feel like I will be running into this clown again.
He made us share our cell phone numbers amongst the team in order to keep things close and convenient, understandable given the company culture and in case he needs to tell us something but I get another feeling that is off too.
This guy would also play favorites in a big way on the team, he had people he wanted to get ahead and if their numbers were not right, he would talk them up in other ways to get them ahead. We had two black guys on the team with the worst numbers and worst performance too, he talked them up as "great leaders" while putting down the top producer on our team who was a white guy from Spain as being "sketchy" and "dishonest".
I get the feeling that he also used some of coworkers to harass others in order to keep a pecking order. There was one Korean girl on the team he would use to harass this Korean guy who was dating a white girl, often calling him out as being a "twinkie" and "self-hater" and the guy was forced to take it. A few times the guy stuck up for himself, scumbag boss joined in on the attack against him.
But here is my big worry about this psychopath.
I am transitioning into a career at another company and it is in a role that pays well but he failed hardcore in when he was young, so he attempted to talk me out of it when I first started as well as talking me out of it during my time with the company.
Now my fear is this son of a bitch might try to ruin my career moving forward or try to intrude on my life by either probing or getting coworkers (soon to be former) to try and text me, attack me on LinkedIn, or do anything to where I find it difficult to move on from the company even though I have moved on.
Not just that, I think this scumbag is trying to still be involved in my life well after I have moved on from under his shitty wing.
Any advice on what to do in this situation?
