An Introduction
Hey everyone, how's it going? My name's Alex and I'm a beginner here at Girls Chase!
About Me-
I'm one of the younger folks here; currently fifteen years old and an incoming Sophmore to high school! I'm here to improve my social skills and become a stronger man than I was before. I hope that I'll be someone who can pursue and achieve his dreams(and dream girl).I began about three months ago, blooming in a similar fashion to many members here: I had this girl I liked.
Now, I was never a very popular or socially capable individual. I was a shy introvert, and tended to stick close to my comfort zones. Thus, when I found myself crushing on this friendly, warm girl, I had no idea what the hell I was doing! Suffice to say, it didn't work out. The important part was in the thick of my blind social flailing, when I realized I wasn't going to get anywhere on my own. This was when I scoured the internet for aid! What was the end result? I found Girls Chase.
At the moment I live in the Bay Area of California.
Currently I'm...
...not doing as well as I hoped I would.
My goal was to begin approaching girls by the end of summer, before school started. So far I've only managed to best approach anxiety once though, but my opener was really off. Hoping I'll be able to grow a pair of balls someday if I keep going out and trying, but it hasn't happened yet.
Other than that, my main focuses are currently in refining my fundamentals and conversational skills.
What I've done so far-
I've made a good few improvements to my fundamentals! Have better posture and fashion now, along with some nonverbals. I'm experimenting with communicating without words, but it's a pretty precise art!
I'm a lot better at conversation now, with deep diving and whatnot, but I find my consistency lacking. It just seems difficult to start or keep a conversation going and manage threads. Currently I do a lot better one-on-one, when the other is forced to listen to me, but I have a lot of trouble holding people's attention in groups.
Also been looking into spotting approach invitations and opportunities; haven't capitalized on any of them yet unfortunately - falling for excuses is a favorite hobby. It turns out I turn a few more heads than I thought I did!(That being zero)
Anyways, that's a simple introduction to me! Any advice and tips would be appreciated. I'll see y'all next time,
-Alex
