Hi everyone :)

I'm new to pickup, being in my late 20's with not a lot of experience with girls. I've been trying to record my sets to make reviewing and improvement easier (I have a bad memory, so being able to rewind and hear exactly what I said and how the girl reacted helps a lot).

I've been using a ~$20 microphone on Amazon and just leaving it in my pocket while I'm talking to girls, but this setup doesn't work when:
- I'm walking around (wind/pants moving creates noise around the mic)
- It's a noisy environment (I can't hear our conversation over the music at a mall/bar or lots of people talking in background)
- It's inconvenient to reach into my pocket and turn on the recording device (thus, I can't record the set)

I've noticed that PUAs who post in-field on Youtube have pretty great audio considering the environments.

Can any guys from this forum recommend me a good hidden mic setup that:
- Can clearly record conversation in noisy environments
- Is not visible, and not noticeable to the girl, even when hugging/kino escalating
- Is not overly difficult to wear and use
- Can be worn under fall/summer attire (t-shirts, jeans, shorts if possible)
- Can easily export the audio to my computer

I did a forum search, and found two relevant threads, but neither of them really provide an answer (the Amazon link on the first is expired)

Thanks in advance!

I don’t know man, but I just wanted to chime and tell you to look at your local legislation.
Recording people without their knowledges is a big no no in certain countries and states.

Just so it doesn’t take you by surprise.

Chiming in here, I've recorded over a hundred approaches to go over with my coach. I found that a simple recording app on an iphone (the built in mic is pretty solid) in your pocket is good enough most of the time unless you're going somewhere absolutely PACKED. I use it in the mall all the time. The audio gets distorted if you're running, but most stationary conversations are clear enough to understand and critique.
