Hi,
I know there's been probably a lot of posts about this topic, but thought I'd try.
I'm a senior in HS and I want to talk to more girls more personally.
I'm a well known person around school, I usually talk to girls around me in class or anyone for that mattter, but what I want to know is how to start off a conversation with a girl you see almost everyday but never talk to. How to get an emotional connection.

And one more thing, how do I make less weird cold approaching girls on FB from school? I'm not trying to make it seem like I want to get in their pants, a decent conversation at least. Thanks guys.

I got my first long-term girlfriend by adding her and her twin on Facebook. I passed by her almost every day in school and was just in love with her. A few months later she was my girlfriend. Skyped almost every night with her for weeks until like 6am. I can't remember what I said to her, but she for sure accused me of flirting with her sister, which I obviously did.

Honestly, if you're in your senior year and in America, then you have just a few more months left at school. If you see a girl you like, just walk up to her, say you've seen her around, think she's cute and say hi. Everything about high school is about to disappear very soon, so burn it to the ground. I was a huge fucking loser/weirdo in high school, and who the fuck cares now?

Girl at that age don't give a rats ass about emotional connections; they usually lose their virginity at some random party with an older guy they barely know. They're riding a football player's cock while guys like you (and me back then) are worried about love and romance (and no, girls fucking the high school athletes is not just a movie stereotype; hella real).

Go say hi and be a man.

Well, it's not that they don't care about an emotional connection...that was an oversimplification for the sake of cutting through a lot of unnecessary conversation. Basically they're too young to even develop much in the way of an emotional bond without the excitement of sex...and really, that rings true for women of all age. It's just that by the time they hit college and beyond, they have the social skills to pull in a lot of orbiters (and they see the benefit of it, emotionally and financially). Most women your age don't have those skills yet and are just beginning to understand how much power they have on men.

Just send the girls you know a message. It's really not that complicated!

"Hey, Sarah, any big plans for the weekend?!"

If you happened to have teamed up with a girl for a project in school or you're working on the same homework

"Hey, Sarah, did you get anywhere with the Trig homework? I'm tryna get it, but Netflix is just such a good excuse not to..."

Talk about plans for the weekend, etc. Then invite her to hangout or grab a coffee/ice cream. Keep it super casual; you're in high school!
