Hey there,

Do you like Girls Chase and want to get more involved?

Have you spat in the face of my recommendations and remained involved with social media anyway?

Are you up for a legitimate challenge?

Good. Here's the deal.

We've had various guys manage our social media accounts over the years. The best was a guy named Chris, who was able to get us a bit of social traffic coming each month... but... well.

We're a men's dating advice company. No one wants to share that stuff on social. When's the last time you shared something from Girls Chase on your Facebook feed? (fat chance, right?)

I've talked with other guys in dating and they all agree: no one shares this stuff on social. Unless you're on the "acceptable" side of the PC line, like Art of Manliness or Ask Men or one of those sites. We're on the "unacceptable" side, where women are as likely to get upset as to smile when they read our stuff, and guys react more like Mom caught them with an issue of Penthouse if they get seen reading it.

What we really need is someone with creative ideas to get us gaining more traction on social media - how do you get people to share instructive articles on men's dating advice?

You could use humor, you could use (mild) controversy... you could use some other idea. Up to you. Just so long as it doesn't involve turning the Girls Chase social media presence into the huggable, lovable pickup company (that already exists - see: Simple Pickup) or an angry-and-ready-to-brawl manosphere site, I'm cool with it.

However, if you've got some ideas, and you think you might be a fit, please drop us a line:

hiring@girlschase.com

Use "Social Media Manager" or "SMM" in your subject line so we'll know what those are about.

This'll just be a small part-time role to start with, but do an awesome job and of course that'll change.

Chase,

The problem isn't the post. It is when suddenly you come into the spotlight.

I was posting a lot of things relating to sociology, and when i link a second dailymail article, and basically labeling most of society as 'small' people, my post suddenly pop up with 50 plus likes and two shares from random people.

It is that sudden surge that can be random.

p.s: obviously i did not just wack anybody without some reason. :)

Some of your less "shocking" articles would do well on social media (either free or paid ads). For example the very first article i read on girlschase was the "how not to be an alpha male stereotype aricle"... it is the more shocking ones that guys might be reluctant to share... so you might have to use paid facebook ads which i dont know too much about.

my only suggestion is to also write more of those kind of articles that guys would be more willing to share... maybe they could act as the "attracters" on social media.... and then guys get hooked on girlschase... maybe... i dont know too much about getting free traffic on social media either...

Hey Chase,

Is this position still available? If not do you have any other digital marketing positions available?
