Pre-story:
So basically there is a new girl in my school who happens to be pretty hot.
At first she started to hang out with the tall, muscular and hot guy we have in class, but after a while she started to talk with EVERYONE in a friendly way, except me.
I do talk with other girls at school, however I never talked with her - and she also never initiated conversation.
What happened:
Today, when we had break, I sat down on a bench, she sat glued right next to me, kind of like this:
Except she wasn't bending over so much. There was plenty of space but she decided to glue right next to me.
Well, it was a bit awkward for me, since I never talked with her, but I was casually looking at my phone and sometimes looking at empty space while she did.
Every time she repositioned herself, she made sure to bump into my leg, my arm etc.
After about 10 minutes, she stand up and started talking with some friend. I felt like she left frustrated, but I'm not sure about that.
My thoughts:
I feel like I should have done something, but it felt very awkward to do so because all of my classmates were there, and even 2 teachers.
I felt a really big social pressure on me at that moment. Part of me just wanted to talk to her and get her number or even kiss her on the spot after some talk, but the other part of me didn't want to
put social pressure on me and also on her since I'm not the "outgoing, super social" type, but more the cool guy which just hangs around and casually talks with other people, so it wouldn't fit into my type.
What should have I done? What can I do? Was this the perfect opportunity and did I ruin it?
