How do i comfort a girls who's family is in the hostpital?

Her 1 yr old sis in the hostpital going thru surgery, what do i say?

I asked what happend , how she seemed yesterday and all that , but what do i say?
I legit want to cheer her up , how o i let her talk and open up about it?
