At the bar. I was chatting with the girl. She was with a girl friend, but there was another guy occupying the friend so the girl friend didn't cockblock me. The reactions seemed good (she was laughing and touching me). So I moved her:
Me: "It's boring here. Let's go inside."
Her: "I'll wait for my friend."
Me: "Let's go. Your friend will follow us."
Her: "You go first."
Me: "Just go. I guarantee your friend will go with us" (desperate)
She turned her body away. It was over.
I've seen this kind of objection, "I have to wait for my friend," fairly often. Any way to work around it?
