So I ghosted this chick 3 years ago she was very into me all was going great but shit happened in my life and I did what I did which admittedly was really dumb, Saw her today when I was driving past and I decided fuck it why not give it a try, I was thinking of catching her irl again but it would almost impossible I dont know where she hangs, so my last choice is sending her a message I still got her number, How do I do it though what should I say exactly?

How long had you two been dating? What was the nature of your connection (ONS, FWB, etc..)? Had you smashed? How many times did she reach out before you went cold?

Also, what is compelling you about this girl? Could be worth reaching out, but why not just follow other leads?
