How do you avoid being creepy in social circle?

i recently had a friend mention I'm creepy, to which most everyone else in the group unanimously agreed.

Now I did make mistakes, but I'd like to pinpoint what, exactly, causes one to come as creepy. I'm specifically talking about social circle here - I've already read the creepy guy article.

A good way to find out is to see it from their perspective. Would I myself find "me" creepy if I do this and this? If not it may be because they dunno why you do the things you do.

What I found common with all creepy ppl are their silence and awkward way of interacting, where you think; "Why is this person here?".

It's usually a lack of common socializing skills and not being able to see the bigger view. Then it's just about experience and ask your friends to tell you when possible when you're creepy so you can correct your mistakes. Being more observant of how and when ppl react to the stuff you do will also speed things up
Or;
A very bad vibe cause you lost an important match etc. or you're simply depressed. And then it's not the socializing you need correcting but how to overall be happy and stay focused on making ppl around you happy even you don't have the best day.

It can also be both.
