How Important is it to Find Mentors?

I've been feeling really stuck lately, and I'm considering finding a local group where I can hopefully learn from more experienced seductionists.

Is it possible to teach yourself this stuff (using materials like Girlschase), or am I at a point that I need hands-on training?

Mentors are crucial to rapid improvement because they are able to see what you cannot by yourself. The small nuances that eventually add up to make a difference are almost always impossible to see on your own but mentors can spot them from a mile away.

I owe much of my improvement in all hobbies to the mentors that I've had whether it be pool, disc golf, pick-up, or coaching/therapy.

If you can find a mentor who is able to teach you and help you improve then I'd leap at the chance because you will definitely see improvement in leaps and bounds.
