Socializing how important is non reactiveness

I've been in the underground rave scene for a year now, and there is this average looking Mexican dude I know who always had baddies with him. I've never seen him actually approach a woman he just shows up to the function with multiple baddies and he is in an open relationship. He isn't particularly charming or funny, he isn't muscular, he's average and skinny fat, he's a cocaine addict. Yet he always has women with him. The gift of the gab. The thing I notice about him is he is always emotionally non reactive with both guys and girls, he rarely smiles. Is this the key to getting women? Being non reactive?

I think it can show higher status that not smiling.
That being when a guy is being real witty / sarcastic , wisecracking making everyone laugh ( mega value) but just smirking himself. It’s dominant that. ( social submission from the others = high value)

but you say he is not funny.
Then it is due to the fact he has cocaine supply tbh. And party girls looove the powder. Pretty simple.

Plus he shows up with loads of guys / social group with him. And it sounds like he’s the focus of the group. So he’s the alpha leader which is very attractive to women.
