I am thinking about becoming a teacher at a university or college.
Currently working in equity research,
Pay is good but work is draining my soul.
I don't like the work, so it affects my ability to complete it, nor I have been develope sufficient skills as well given the time period I have worked.
I will say I perform slightly below average.
If I was interested in the work or if money would have been a significant motivation. Maybe I am capable of being above average in it.
The aspect I hate about the work is being constantly updated about the work and being call and beck of clients as soon as some news or new information comes.
Now I have decided to switch careers.
I am thinking about teaching as I like being around people, talking and have average skill of teaching stuff, also, working in finance gives me subject expertise too.
Thinking of teaching finance in some university or college.
Just unsure about it, so wanted to hear thoughts of others.
I'm in start of my late 20s.
Can't see myself working hard enough to become a big businessman or something like that.
