Give her enough to take another bite but not the whole thing.
She wants to know your job be vague, give her a little not the entire description.
At my previous job I worked in sales to government contractors.
Her: what do you do?
Me: I work in sales

Hey dude ,
I'm assuming you mean create intrigue about yourself. Firstly have have to actually have qualities that are rare and valuable to others : the trick is people value different things so the only way to create intrigue in someone is have a quality they value in particular and then you need a way to deliver it that doesn't give the whole picture. And baits them into wanting to know more.
There are two ways to deliver intrigue that I can think of :
First through yourself. And the best way to do this is under the radar. Probably the most effective and easiest way in pickup/women is to create sexual intrigue and there is plenty of examples of sex talk given by senior members of the forum scattered throughout this place and I articles. Why is it effective? because pretty much every girl is going to value sexual skill and good sex talk implies sexual skill. But you can certainly do it with other larger topics like hobbies , life ambitions , views on life etc. but you can get hit and miss with topics like this.
You can also do non verbal deliveries through yourself and this is all fundamentals - ask any girl they love guys with a sexy smile they can't explain what a sexy smile is (look up chases article) but they love it. Sexy smile implies a sexual man BUT doesn't confirm it - Which in my opinion creates more intrigue than verbal stuff. So basically fundamentals or other visuals that imply you do something she values. If she likes soccer players and she sees dangling soccer boots from your backpack she is now intrigued .
However what's far more powerful at creating intrigue than delivering it yourself is have rumours of your value spread though other people because the truth behind it is even more foggy. So then she goes and hunts down the mystery man behind the gossip. Because this not only tells her you might be what she values but you're popular which adds social proof and preselection.
However obviously this is usually only possible through social circle contexts and you can't really control it although I did read a post from narrow somewhere that describes how he was on a date with a girl and he showed her a meme on his phone via text message from another girl he was intimate with. He gave the girl his phone forgetting that his previous text exchange with the girl was her describing in disbelief how she lost count how many orgasms he gave her. The girl scrolls up and reads this message from the other girl and from there her eyes widen she is ready to go go go: intrigue successfully built. And it's technically delivered through the girl that he was texting.
