How to deal with girls at school that you've previously approached?

Approaching the halfway mark in the quarter, I'm now seeing girls that I've approached before (sometimes during new approaches, sometimes just in passing to class). It's annoying because I'll be approaching a new girl and her friend will come up to say hi and it'll be a girl I've previously approached that turned me down OR got her number and then became unresponsive after.

Not sure how to deal, they seem to make it pretty awkward, example:

Walking through the art building with a friend, walk past girl working on architecture drawing on the floor.

Me: Love the architecture drawing!

Her: Thanks :), (looks up and sees me) Oh..... hi

Me: Uhhh hi, (I look at her and recognize her) have we met before?

Her: Yeah my name's Paisley (beautiful blonde that I got the number of after a friend got her number as well, texted, she responded then never responded to date text, added her on snapchat and persisted ONCE, she said she never got my previous text then blocked me)

Me: Dope (walks away)

Odd for sure, whatever though.

Also when I see girls that I have previously approached they stare at me or give me odd looks, my game isn't that great tbh; I have solid posture, a decent look and notice girls checking me out while wearing certain clothes that frame my body well. As far as verbal game I've noticed women are intimidated AS FUCK when I use the deep voice (so it must not be sexy in my case), so I've adopted an almost more nice guy approach, which literally runs counter to everything we learn here. (It worked today though......)

I'm not really sure what's going on because I haven't had very much luck at school this quarter, I do look older than most classmates, a lot of these girls are 16,17 or 18, which I've had luck with in the past but... could I just be dressing too old?

My look right now is: a sweater over a black tshirt, light blue jeans and dress shoes, I have a nice watch and a ring on, as well as black earrings and when I have my sleeves rolled up my reaper tattoo is showing.

Could I be coming off as too edgy for some girls and not edgy enough for others?

I'm just not sure where I'm going wrong here, haven't had much luck in the past few weeks.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Actually you brought up something interesting. I'm not sure if there's a name for it (maybe negative preselection?)

In high school, approaches like that could have gotten you slotted into the 'creepy pickupy guy' zone. Especially nowadays what with social media and rumours passing around like wildfire. It may have worked for you initially because you weren't that well known as that guy who approaches and gets rejected (or gets some), but now that've done it for awhile, it could be you're starting to gain the reputation. Especially if you re-open girls that have rejected you in the past.

In small community environments, this tends to happen, and there's not really much that can be done except let it die down a bit (and avoid re-approaching same people!).

Agreed, perhaps for right now it would be best to approach elsewhere.

Hey trackrunner12. College is a place where you can greatly improve your social skills. Hot girls + parties + social circle and socialising + fun = social calibration and Casanova status. Yes it might seem awkward that you're running into girls you approached before. You can just say hi to them and move on. You shouldn't give a fuck about what others think. You need this skill set. If Anatman did it in a small college then you can fucking do it. Of course you have to be subtle and don't talk or brag about you fucking or picking up girls. You should also explore the campus and pick up girls from different parts. Also, remember what Chase said: "college life is not real life". Once you leave college that's when you begin to live the real life and you face real life consequences. If rumours spread around that you're fucking your coworkers you could lose your job. But what's the worse that can happen if rumours spread in your social circle that you're a man whore? You'd probably not see so many of your college acquaintances after college. Why give a fuck. Turns out this advice is directed to me too. I need to adopt this mindset. And remember, you might just be over thinking it. Review everything that has happened so far and ask yourself if you running into those girls has changed anything at all other than you feeling awkward. Has there been any negative consequences. Think!

I'd fucking OWN it. Worst case scenario where she is calling you out on being a gamey bastard.

"oh Paisley , I remember you. Yeah we met at the student union last quarter. I hoped I'd get a chance to talk to you again."

Her "Well you were a bit of a creep on Snapchat, so I blocked you."

You: " I guess I came on a bit strong. I still think you are interesting."

Her: "well you hit on like 4 or 5 of my friends, so I'm not interested."

You: "Fair enough. If you change your mind, you have my number. I might surprise you. Have a nice day." and walk away like you were just saying hey to your best buddy.

More or less you present the fact that you don't apologize for being a man and being interested in women. You acknowledge her right to not be interested back, and it doesn't matter to you.

.

Turned you down? No girl turns you down, she was probably a chick that was drunk as fuck when you were cool enough to talk to HER and didn't get enough chance to get to see your fun side. Fuck her. There's only one chance with a guy like you and she blew it. If you think you're the guy that blew it by being too sexual right off the bat, then take yourself away from her and move on and don't give a fuck about this experience. It's a crappy one and it's not even worth thinking about this long, you're after the fun experience. The Masterpiece.

I think that's how you should deal with girls like that.. That's almost about being the prize.

Perfect and so spot on bro. Don't apologize for being a man and trying to meet new women.

College? I thought 16-18 was high
school...
That does change a lot of things..
It depends on the country. Over here in my country the minimum age for university (or college as many countries would rather call it) is 16. So many people finish secondary school (high school) at age 16 and so we can have 20 year old graduates. But we have more older people in the universities and less 16 or 17 year olds.

I'm from the United States, Seattle to be more specific. These are high school students that are doing their Associates Degree at the same time as finishing high school. I go to community college right now so it's full of them.

There's older girls too, just doesn't seem to be as many haha.
