Hey guys/lords,
So recently, a doctor told me to avoid all physical activity (even light swimming) because my kidneys need to heal up. I often find myself saying "no" to people when they ask me to do something. I was asked to go on a ride at our local fair today, and I had to say no. They always ask why and so until this point, I've tried just explaining the reasoning. That usually makes the person feel bad for me, thus weakening my appearance. At the fair, I just said it's a secret and smiled but it came of a little awkward and the person was suspicious in a negative way. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what to say/do so I don't come off as pitiful of suspicious?
