Mostly its a natural way to go back to hers since youre just some random stranger asking her something.
So presumeably means your hook is weak or your not stacking verbals
or your repellant vs captivating.
you need to impact her enough to win yourself a minute or two which can then lead to more.
once you get the earplugs out you need to create a conversational flow to avoid her going back which is a default
use any of the below
transiitons
conversational routes
calibrated questions
plowing/leading
spitting game
various techs eg amplifying emotions by using her response to your opening to dramatise things
mirror/pace
whatever immerses her in convo and buys you the next minute until shes actually interested.

- rolling into a sorta assuming rapport type convo
- having verbal routes or flows that i riff on that eg creates intrigue/baits
- being very attuned to the connection and the feel between the lines between us (which i impact too).
