How To Make The Most of A Nightclub-Esque Job

Whaddup guys,

Recently got hired at an after hours club in my city. So far its dope and I know I'll have more than enough chances to talk to girls there as my job isn't too work intensive. I can talk to people as I please and the only downside is I can't really pull out of there immediately as I have to stay and close. I'm wondering how I can make the most of this while I'm there.

I'm pretty new to this type of service industry job so I'm wondering how I go about it. If you guys have any advice or experience with this type of thing feel free to let me know!

I worked the door at a dance club in college. Got a good look at the girls coming in, checked ID's etc. Made small talk, and even had some girls try to get me to come dance with them.

Your best bet is to get a number if a girl shows interest in you.

The other good thing is that you develop a network with other hospitality people in the area. Bartenders will frequently comp drinks for each other at their respective places. Social Proof.

My tactic would be to find an all night diner walking distance from the club, and use THAT as your after-after hours meetup venue. Ask your Colleagues where they go after work. ala Coyote Ugly

Thanks for the advice. Yeah since I started working there I've toned back the approaching and just kinda chill or tell other people to bring me girls to introduce me. Definitely something I want to work on and flesh out.

There is a place relatively close, but not walking distance. I can Uber there so no biggie.

So basically just being more chill and friendly while maintaining an attractive vibe?

I think you get it. It's your venue, so you are on familiar ground, be alert for IOI's. You are the "Hired Gun".

In my current position, I have an office door that opens into the retail floor. You would be amazed at the female clients who come to my door to chat and twirl their hair and more or less flirt, because they perceive me to have some authority. I do, but I don't flaunt it.
