How to respond to overly physical/annoying ish flirting?

I’m sure this happens to a lot of guys, so if this is relevant to you and you’re interested, read on.

Theres a girl in my class that likes me, and I like her too. The problem is the way that she flirts is so annoying (and I’ve encountered this problem with many different girls so that’s why I’m writing this - most likely because i’m in high school and girls arent very socially calibrated yet). I know these girls all like me cuz they are usually very nervous around me even while doing these things.

This girl does things like playfully slap my phone out my hand (and slap it again after I pick it up bruh) and poke me with the sharp end of the pencil. Other girls in the past have done even more extreme things like put their hand in my face playfully and punch me somewhat hard in the stomach.

My first reaction would be to just tell them to knock it off firmly while being a bit pissed, but this discourages flirting which is bad. I just dont like the overly physical/annoying stuff that makes me look like I cant tell her to stop. Especially the things that are obviously going to annoy me like slap my phone out my hand while im working on it.


How do I still encourage flirting, while not getting all that annoying stuff so I can move this forward?

at the strictest sense of compatibility, you can't. She will need a few years to tone down.

Really? Now that I think about it, I think I’ve only seen this with black girls, but I guess it’s just differing experiences between us.

Do you think I could do something like telling them to knock it off firmly and a little pissed, and then later still flirt with them in my own way to repair the low attainability move I just did?

1) DON'T lose your cool.
2) If this is a girl you like, ask her if you could speak to her alone between classes. Tell her "hey, i see you...and you are pretty cool. Lets go do something together after classes sometime. BUT, you gotta knock off this grab-assing. You are better than that..."
3) it's more or less setting her straight from a higher position... If she wants your attention she doesn't have to be annoying...just say hi...

4) if she is just trying to be mean to you amp up the "Attention seeking" , "Man you must really have a crush on me" part and use it in front of people whose opinions she cares about. Warning this could make her go in the more violent direction if she has Bullying tendencies.....

Another one you could use is “Man you must really like me today”.

When girls are doing something I don’t like I usually stop giving them attention, or start ignoring them, not giving eye contact all together.

When they shape up then i’ll start giving them really focused attention again.

This works if you’re usually really attentive

That sounds like bullying, I like how you feel confident about all girls liking you. That's the spirit , however, never be too overconfident and let it go over your head.
