***This is going to be a long post, but TLDR will be posted at the end of this if you don't feel like reading it all***
I was recently cold approach by a girl for the first time in my life, and it has been hard to figure her out fully. I was in a social gathering talking to some random guy and this cute girl walked up to me wanting to talk. We ended up making small talk, she asked for my number, and wanted to sit by me at the event. After the event, she ended up texting me later that night saying hey it was nice meeting you and talked about going to a different event that following Sunday. Few days past and she texts me again saying hey just checking in I am tanning. We texted a little, then I went in for the kill and asked for a date Sunday, and she said yes. Now here's where things get weird to say the least. I met her at this mall type of place and did the usual banter, flirting, touch, and escalation, but she wasn't really responding positively or negative about it. And she also struggled to maintain eye contact with me, kind of gave me neurodivergent signs. I ended up leaving thinking she wasn't interested in me romantically, and texted her later that night saying I had a good time, and she responded with the thumb up. I moved on and proceeded to talk with other girls for the next couple of days, and she ended up calling me out the asking to hang out together.
We hang out that day, and she seemed more interested in me compared to the date, so I thought she might've been extremely nervous on the date. After we hang out, I texted her about hanging out on Saturday, but honestly I should've set it up better, but she responded quickly with she might be able to and basically never followed up on it. Once again I try to move on despite really liking her. I didn't text her for a week, and she ended up texting me asking a simple easy to figure out question then proceeded to want to meet again. Which I ended up doing again like a beta, but for some reason I want to figure her out. I don't know if she's purposely pushing/pulling, but it's work on me now I know how girls feel when I do it to them. I noticed during the social event she seems to be comfortable talking with other guys and being my open, but with me, she shut down and seems closed off. She still laughs to all my dumb jokes and still wants to be by me, but I can't figure out why? Yes, I am too invested, but I really like her and want to see this through regardless of the outcome. Do you guys think she is just playing me and leading me on or just extremely nervous, and how do I seduce someone who seems shy around me?
