How to talk about my day

I have a Problem. My wife always want to talk about how was my work Day and I dont know how to talk about IT because im working as Computer specialist Administrator and programmer.. IT makes no sense to tell her specificly what I did. Nevertheless I want to share my Day with her...

Any ideas?

She is just being polite say great and ask her how was her day. So she can talk about her day which is what women love to do...

I honestly think it depends on the girl, she just might be bored and wants something to think about. If you consider your wife to be smart and logical, I think it's a great opportunity to get her involved in the "encounters" you face at work. The best example I can think of is you telling your boss you want a raise, or that you did something very well and got praise, or you doing something that gets you a step closer to a promotion. Get her involved and THINKING what you should be doing, the more involved she feels she is in your everyday situations the more connected she'll feel to you.

Be careful though not to bore her or make it a habit to always tell her about your day at work or expect that she wants to listen to you ramble about shit at work. Instead, make sure she WANTS you to tell her about your day. If she's helpful make sure to reward her with some affection and maybe some more if she really deserves it.
