How would you prevent local rockstars stealing your targets

We're in a 2 on 2 scenario, my friend and I, against the perfect 10, and her cute friend.

Basically we've been gaming these 2 girls at this organized camping spot at noon, we were eating together at a table and chatting and they're super friendly(originally 3 of them but 3rd was absent later at night), later in the evening at the beach they avoided us inside the sea, we told 'em to play volleyball with us but Cutefriend is afraid of the ball???
ps: queen was all smiles and super friendly/talkative since the start, she was probably down to play volleyball with us but her friend cockblocked us, or they just wanted to discuss personal stuff together (the 2 of them, 3rd was suntanning at the beach, cause they kept strolling around and chatting constantly)

Oh well they were super receptive and smiling later again at night, massive mood change, to the point I thought Cutefriend was drunk. (she wasnt)

They came and sat with us at our table for about 2 hours, even danced with us at some point during some folk dancing stuff, there was live music the entire time, played by.. 2 young musicians/singers.

The 10/10 queen had plenty of stuff in common with my friend (they both graduated same college, and he knew her friend's sister from abroad, where he lives now and studies for his master's, and the queen was even at his current town for tourism)

At some point the live music comes to an end and we're leaving this camping canteen/restaurant area and we're about to head off to the beach with our drinks and chill with the girls, UNTIL, the 2 musicians are waiting for them around the corner and suddenly chat them up.

And these sluts are now fully focused onto them at this point like.. super locked in, from what I over-heard, 1 of the guy lived in the same area as the cute girl, and even knew one of her friends or something, which was real bad luck for us as they're now super glued into them, finding stuff in common + they're the local rockstars.

How would you snap the ladies out of it and regain their focus? My only idea after the events, was to approach them super early into the interaction, before they find stuff/more stuff in common and it starts peaking, make our presence known to the dudes also and tell the girls we're leaving, going to the beach, are they tagging along?

For the record, I went to the toilet while 1 of the musician fk'd off to somewhere ( he went to bring a bottle of alcohol or smth). Queen gave her insta to my friend and told him to 'text her' as he was waiting for me to return, so we can go and find them, and they left. We found them at the beach instantly without texting her, and we sat by the 2 girls and one of the musicians (2nd one was still away) for like.. a minute, but it was awkward, we felt random, and besides, we were super turned off at this point (would still bang doe), we told 'em we're going to a nearby party on the beach, if they wanna come. They didn't.

The way I read it it is just "we were hanging out, then hanging out more, then hanging out more, and the girls were acting horny, then we were about to hang out SOME MORE... then all of a sudden these two guys came and stole them from us!"

Looks strongly like a blood-in-the-water situation. The music guys read it and decided to help the poor girls out.

Further... was there a connection built with these girls? If it was all playing around / goofing off / having fun, well, you can pull with that if the cards fall right (and you capitalize on the escalation windows), but it also means there's no real bond between the girl and you and either one can peel off at any time and not feel bad about it.

This report reads like you spent a whole day pumping these girls' buying temperature but never did anything with it, so a couple other dudes took them off your hands.

The natural way of the flow would be to wait for the live show to finish so we move the girls over to the beach afterwards, where it's dark and we'd chill on the seabeds and do our thing, recommending it sooner while everyone was having a blast would most likely lead to a rejection, we were waiting for it finish by the minute. Earlier in the day it wasn't possible to pull cause they weren't as 'attached' as at night. Plus they had a 3rd friend there, couldn't ditch her

I suppose you're right about the connection part, I don't think it was that solid, yes we were goofing and playing around and bantering with push-pulls but hadn't deep dived too much (guess it doesn't matter here much at this party, but my girl at least wasn't super locked in, the perfect 10 on the other hand and my friend had better chemistry).

I forgot to mention that these girls were super friendly, like social butterflies and everyday they were with another group of guys chatting and laughing. Oh well, we saw them at 05:30 still chilling with the musicians at the seabeds and then leaving together probably towards their tents, so I doubt they got laid either, logistics are shit at this camp, if you pound them in the tent everyone nearby's gonna hear it.The lifeguard's tower during the night felt like a good spot.. <- just personal thoughts.

Yeah, if it's just a weak hook (social butterflying girls just hanging around without both girls being very into it, and they are hanging around different people every time), and you have no logistics, the priority needs to be making that hook rock solid, because you need to expect sooner or later if you're just going to hang around with them all day with no way to close that they are going to get pulled away... that is just how it is with social girls in a social arena. You want a solid hook so they can't get pulled away, or that they return to you if they do get pulled away for a moment or two.

That was the biggest error here... if you knew you were going to be with these girls all day and there was no way to pull until night, the focus needs to be "solidify the hook, solidify the hook, solidify the hook" all day long.

If you're not able to do that, then I'd question whether they're the right girls to spend the day with.

Whole day on girls where the hook won't solidify is generally what guys do when they're hoping/praying sex is going to happen somehow (sometimes it will, but usually... not).

Better call if you've spent a few hours and the hook just won't solidify AND you can't get isolation AND there's no logistics until many hours later is most of the time going to be splitting off for a while to go look for more receptive girls.

Bonus points that if you end up leaving, can't find any better girls, then return to the original girls later, a lot of the time they'll be a lot more compliant due to the takeaway from you leaving and nobody better coming along (they are happy you're back).

That's basically what happened, we chatted for 1-2 hours at noon
2 minutes in the beach in the evening but they were dodging us
And later at night they were super happy they found us again, just got simply snatched away by the musicians, and we let it happen too..
