I feel I'm getting AMOG

I feel I'm trying to get AMOG by this banker that went to school with me but i didn't really interact much with him back then. Thus, IDK why i get the feeling that he is trying to feel superior when i really could care less about him or his job. I mean it's in his tone of voice, his body language, and vibe in general. First time i saw him we were cool, shooting the shit but after that he was just more cool and aloof towards me. What makes matter worse is there's a cute teller i want to game and his presence makes it hard to run game effectively. Any thoughts or insight into this?

If he's not physically interfering with you running game on the teller then it's more about you and not him.

AMOG - or in PUA terms: Alpha Male Of Group

AMOGs are the men who will purposefully interrupt you when talking to a cute girl, will disrupt the flow of things between the two of you.

If, however (and I believe this is what you stated when writing this) he's not following a typical AMOG pattern and his presence is throwing you off then you're having a mental block instead. If it's his presence that's bothering you then other advice is required.

No it's not his presence that bothers me it's his demeanor towards me. IDK, I am rarely wrong about the vibes i get from people. I think the way I am bothers him or something because he just becomes a bit more stuck up and superior. Like putting on a different mask is the best way i can describe it. Thus, i become the same towards him and just mind my business and leave. It's all amicable but the tension is there. And with him there next to my girl i just change moods. Oh, and his game, by the sounds of it, he is around if not better than me at running it. Thus making me feel a bit wary of trying to run game in front of him as he has the advantage since they work together. Sorry for the emotional rant it just really got to me today because i wanted to talk to this girl and deep dive more but he was there and fucked up my mood.

Sorry, dude, but from the information given it sounds like the problem is definitely with you.

For some reason, maybe his job, maybe something else, you feel inferior to him and this is translating into "he thinks I am inferior to him". And either way the solution is the same: Don't let it bother you.

Why should you care how someone rates you against themself? You have your own system of rating, surely.

all lead me to believe that he is the more assertive one between the two of you and that you're letting him be the dominant one.

Bro, you've got to remember that you and him are two different people - the difference is he's unwaivered by others influence over him while you are not but you should and can be. (Check out the assertive link).

I'd be willing to bet that if you had the same mentality as him (not caring if others are around or not) then you would run game better than him and you wouldn't care what the fuck he thinks --- or if he thinks negatively of you at all.

I'll let you know though - if he remains the dominant one then you'll lose the girl based on that premise alone.

Dude is 12 inches taller so his dominance is going to be natural. Luckily he has not seen me running game in front of this girl so i have some wiggle room. But as you said, both work together plenty of time to make himself look charming, dominant, and assertive. Whatevs though, her fucking loss the way i see it.
