Hey fellas!
So I was not always like this, but for the past year or so, I have drastically changed. Girlschase definitely was the biggest reason. Thanks to everyone involved n this site.
Throughout my life, I could never really find anyone with whom I can truly connect. I am introvert, but I am slowly learning to be extrovert in many situations, and find that switching back and forth is great.
The problem is, I am kinda deep. Like I never take life too seriously, because life is temporary, and nothing is going to last forever.
I read heaps of self help books and love motivational movies.
I am not afraid to do things that I want to do even when everybody is telling otherwise.
I believe that life is a constant journey of improvement, unlike most people who think that you improve yourself till 25 years or so by going to college, and then just settle for a job and stop learning.
I am not afraid to dream big, even though those dreams may seem ridiculously ambitious to other people. I think mediocrity is one of the worst things in life.
So you get the gist. I think most of us are like this, so Girlschase is a great place to find people like myself. However, since we are the minority, maybe 10% of the population at best, it is truly hard to find someone similar in real life.
Also, I feel that most people like me are going to be high achievers, since we see life from a totally different perspective. But I have not achieved great things yet, the biggest reason is I just cannot seem to take persistent action, which matters the most when it comes to achieving success.
So I guess at this point, since I am not a high achiever myself, other high achievers will simply ignore me? Does that mean I have no chance of being friends with people like me at this point?
Do you have the same problem of not being able to find ambitious people? What do you think I can do to meet people like me?
Fuck all I want is people who are not afraid of life, and think that life is amazing. But heck, 99% of people I meet see life as this terrible thing and their only goal is living from day to day with zero enthusiasm, and for the life of me, I just can't find anyone who belongs to the rare 1%!
Do I just give up trying to find people with whom I can connect?
I know Richard you cannot stand people who are intellectually not too smart, so how frequently do you find girls or guys who talk about the deep things you like?
Please reflect some light on the topic everyone!
