i need help!!

Okay, so i have liked this girl for about a year now and i see her nearly everyday and she knew that i liked her for a long time, but then i got a gf but during that time all i could think about was this other girl, now we used to talk and stuff and she knew i got a gf and she thought i didnt like her. But i do.

I am now stuck because my feelings have popped up again and i like her a real lot and when we talk now it is not awkward, but i dont think she will try and be with me. I want to get with her, what do i do after liking a girl for this amount of time?

1) End your current relationship with your girlfriend.

2) Wait around 3 months. If you talk to the girl you like, let her know that you broke up. But that is all you're telling her.

3) You do nothing for that 3 months with the girl you like. Do not hang out with her etc.

4) Stay busy doing something else. Focus on a goal or a passion. Pick up a new hobby.

5) After 3 months you can start contacting the girl you like and ask how she is. Let her know what productive activities you have been up to lately.

6) Ask her out for a date when it feels right.

7) Move fast. And NEVER talk about your ex.

Thanks for the help, but i did forgot to mention that i had already broken up last year... And it has been longer than three months.
